The Cradle: A Novel
Patrick Somerville is a master of the short novel. How he snuck a beautiful story of familial love into such a slender novel and captured my attention from the beginning to end is beyond me. However, I can't wait to read more from this author. I'm glad I didn't judge this book by it's cover. A must read this summer because of it's swift pace and wonderful story telling.
