Like most of you I'm an avid reader. I'm hoping to re-connect with old friends, make new friends, and of course spread the love of reading and writing around to everyone!
I saw this at the library and thought, "I want to read this!" So, I checked it out and began reading. It's a fast paced read that really caught my attention. It has zany characters, interesting descriptions, and some very humorous moments. I also liked the fact that the story shifts between past and present to give the reader context.
However, the ending just didn't cut the mustard for me. I thought it ended way too neatly, and that left me a little disappointed because I was hoping for something more.
All in all, a good first novel from an interesting author. I'm just glad I borrowed it from the library.
