Ok, let me be frank here. I HATED the beginning of this book. Going into this, I knew what Edward was, so I didn't feel the need for over 100 pages of foreshadowing. I understand that foreshadowing is an important feature to any good novel, but I thought almost 200 pages of it was overkill. However, once I got about 250 pages into the book and Bella was introduced to the Cullen's, that was when I felt the real story began, which turned out to be the kind of brain candy I was looking for. I'm interested in seeing where Stephenie Meyer is going with this series, so I'll read New Moonand see if I enjoy it more or less than this one. Stay tuned!
